✦ AI summary

HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush captures the arcade fun and vibrant aesthetic fans expect from the franchise, with solid map design and satisfying racing mechanics that reward mastery and replayability. However, the open world feels padded with tedious collectibles and excessive travel time between events, and the game suffers from inconsistent performance on PC and some quality-of-life issues like unclear track-building tutorials. Players suggest picking it up on sale rather than at full price to better justify the time investment needed to overcome these frustrations.

Severe Forum Censorship & Moderation Abuse: Potential buyers should be aware of how this developer handles criticism. I was permanently banned from the HOT WHEELS™ Infinite Rush community hub, and my post history was completely wiped. My only offense was posting critical feedback regarding their product state and their pricing strategy. They are actively violating Steamworks moderation guidelines by deleting honest user discontent to artificially manipulate the public perception of this game. Silenced for Fair Pricing & Game Quality Critique: They permanently banned me from their Steam community hub after I voiced my criticism regarding their pricing strategy (putting their games out for high prices, then reducing the prices by 50% or more within a few months after release). I also pointed out major problems with the game, like a barely working multiplayer mode with constant disconnects and lag because they did not even provide dedicated servers for the tiny player base online. Flawed Game Loop & Overpriced State: Aside from their anti-consumer moderation tactics, the game itself is highly disappointing. The economy is heavily grind-focused, making car progre…

As with the previous two installments, this game promises a lot and delivers little. The bones are there but due to either incompetence or willful neglect the game suffers from massive bugs day one, has too little track budget, it's livery and sticker editor are riddled with a overactive AI moderation (you literally can't have anything resembling any IRL logo). Multiplayer lobbies started out broken and while the have been fixed, the game is a ghost town. On the positive side the car models are fantastic and very faithful to their in real life counterparts. That is probably the best praise I can give this game. The single player is repetitive and boring, and I'm also 99% sure I am bugged with not being able to get all 300 gears on Drifty Temples. (I used 3 different guides all checking every single marked spot and still am only at 299/300.) I bought this game to play with a specific community so in that regard I do not regret my purchase, however without that I'd strongly recommend staying away from this game, and all future Milestone products or at least wait for it to go on heavy discount. The game is already on sale for a decent amount (20%) only a month after release.

I would imagine the whole point of a racing game is to be able to race. I never played a racing game where the gas, brakes, and turning didn't work.

It is a great game. I love the open world, and setting the difficulty to EASY kinda made the Target Scores and Target Times more lenient, and I like it that way. PLUS, I can equip all the liveries that I made from the Xbox version.
