✦ AI summary

The Entropy Centre is a first-person puzzle game with a time-rewind mechanic that appeals to Portal fans with its clever puzzle design and engaging story. Players praise the core concept and initial puzzles, though opinions diverge on the later game, with some finding it repetitive and frustratingly difficult while others enjoy it throughout. The consensus suggests it's worth playing for puzzle enthusiasts, particularly during a sale if length and difficulty concern you.

Saving the world by simply rewinding it. - Honestly, why has nobody thought of this before? In The Entropy Centre, that is basically the plan. Unfortunately, the giant super-expensive world-saving machine doesn't run on hopes and dreams, so you'll have to work for it... mostly by solving a whole lot of puzzles involving cubes, switches, and the casual manipulation of time itself. You know. Normal office stuff. The Entropy Centre is a first-person puzzle game that comfortably sits somewhere in the same family as Portal, The Witness, ChromaGun, Antichamber and the countless other games that have taught us to distrust every cube, switch and suspiciously clean test chamber. And while the Portal influence is impossible to miss, The Entropy Centre has one major trick of its own: rewinding objects through time. Instead of simply moving a cube from A to B, you might first place it on one switch, carry it somewhere else, move it again… and then rewind its entire journey while you run through doors, trigger platforms or desperately try to remember what your plan was five seconds ago. It sounds confusing. It isn't. Well… most of the time. You pl…

I wanted to like this game. The concept is good. But the more you play the more annoying it gets. Like I don't want to say it's bad but I had to try one of the levels so many times as the robots just kept coming. And if a jump box isnt perfect it doesn't work. Gotta be realistic, time is precious and after the first half it the fun dissappears. And it feels too long, I'd actually enjoy it more if it was shorter.
