[h1] Isometric tower defense for Sanctum fans. Act as a simplified version of the main game. Only towers can be used. Balance is good I think - seems like nothing is overpowered except my skills of course. Worth checking if you crave for more Sanctum even in simplest form. [/h1]

Super Sanctum TD takes the defensive strategy elements of the Sanctum series and turns them into a focused, old-school tower defense experience. Developed by Coffee Stain Studios and published by Coffee Stain Publishing, the game trades the first-person combat of its larger relatives for an isometric battlefield where planning, positioning, resource management, and preparation determine whether the Core survives. Its presentation is deliberately modest, but underneath the retro visuals is a surprisingly flexible strategy game that rewards experimentation and careful optimization. The heart of the experience is maze construction. Rather than simply dropping towers beside predetermined roads and waiting for enemies to walk past them, players are encouraged to shape the route that alien waves must follow. A good defensive layout forces enemies through long sections of concentrated fire, while a poorly designed maze can allow dangerous units to reach the Core before enough damage has been inflicted. Well... It's definitely Sanctum. 80s retro Sanctum TD. I think the title says it all really. If you like Sanctum or (even more importantly) if you like tower defense games I can't think of a reason you wouldn't like this. Classic tower defense!

Good game, feels a little unbalanced, especially with some of the maps, but otherwise, it's a good game.
