[/url] As for the steam review I'll just skip to the conclusion. [h2] Conclusion [/h2] So... D1 is the simplest and shortest title, but its also great by those same merits. While it does have a couple eye-rolling issues, it's pretty fun to just turn your brain off and blow up zombies for a couple hours with a meta layer that helps feel that you're making actual progress towards a grander goal. And that formula thankfully stays consistent for the whole series. D2 is essentially the same as D1, but with additional content and improvements in a lot of places. DM is a really fun, refreshing change of pace and my personal favorite. It holds up well even after all these years. DM alone really carries a lot of value in this package. D3 is the most content rich title but also very frustrating, in a "so close to greatness" sort of w…

The game collection is basically, for better or worse, is just a port of the old web games to Steam bundled together. Mostly recommending the collection because the original games were good and having a better site to access them on unlike most of the sites where they were and are held. I would say wait for a sale though as the games are genuinely just a port with little to no glitch fixes or other improvements. still a solid enough purchase at 10 bucks

It's great to have all the games preserved on steam, but they do feel a bit clunky compared to the original flash versions. Not exactly game breaking but it seems like some hits on enemies register twice and ranged weapons' projectiles get stuck in the ground early sometimes, and the window behaves weirdly about resizing if I want to play windowed rather than fullscreen (fullscreen is fine though). Oh and also something strange is the aiming reticle for tower missions not aligning with where the cursor is, though the weapons still fire on the cursor rather than the broken reticle. This is at least from playing Decision Medieval, which has always been my favorite one. Either way, I can't exactly play the original flash one either because it is plagued by a save game bug that is way worse than a little clunkiness here, lol. Love the game otherwise.
