I found Life is Strange: True Colors to be a general improvement over the previous Life is Strange 2. Its setting of Haven Springs, Colorado is inviting, cozy and full of things to explore and interact with, plus new main character, Alex is likable, if a little awkward. Her ability to read and potentially influence human emotion fits this franchise like a glove, even if it's mainly used to snoop throughout gameplay, and doesn't have as many applications as you might initially hope for a mighty empath. The storytelling is generally heartfelt as well, though I did feel that the game's ultimate conclusion is a bit anticlimactic. Alex's character arc is decent, but the grand mystery surrounding Haven Springs feels like a notable step down from events at Blackwell Academy in particular. Still, this is overall a solid entry in the Life is Strange series, if you're looking for something cozy. I don't know if it quite dethrones Before the Storm as the series' high point for me, but it nonetheless remains one of the more satisfying entries in the franchise.

Gorgeous story, incredible characters with depth, and a fascinating new power for the series. This game is really special to me and I have enjoyed multiple play throughs of it and it's DLC. Will likely break your heart and that's what makes it so beautiful to me. Also incredible soundtrack and visuals, and fun interesting gameplay that you don't expect.

I think this is my favorite game in the series so far (I haven't played Reunion yet). The length is just right, so the story never drags. There's a really good balance between player choices and story-driven moments, and I didn't run into any of the technical issues I had in the previous games. Improved graphics, improved characters, and an interesting story. I'd recommend it for a relaxing gameplay with intense emotions

I've loved all he games in the life is strange series ( except 2 that one sucks) and this one is a solid entry. i haven't found any glitches yet and the game is very pretty, i would definitely recommend.

So I played the 3 games before this one and liked them all (yes, including LiS2). I liked this one as well. Typical LiS atmosphere, decent story, great music, good characters and beautiful graphics and locations. I would say everything you'd expect from a LiS game. There were definitely slower parts but also a few shockers sparsely distributed among the chapters but it wasn't a slog if you know what to expect from a LiS game. A few silly woke things and LGBTQQAIPBB+ stuff here and there (especially in Steph's DLC) but honestly, as much as I'm not a fan of that stuff, it's kept reasonable. If you liked the previous LiS games, I'd recommend this.
