genuinely top 3 best games I've ever played? the story is so well made it really brings you into the position the twins are in, on the character work on basically everyone you can really tell the people who made this game cared so deeply and wanted everything to be told perfectly. this game honestly is what life is strange wanted to be but somehow that's still the more popular one out of the two (I love lis as well but this is a while other level). the collectibles are very fun to get and the short little stories behind each figurine is so fun and sweet the fact that this game is free every single year for a whole month is genuinely amazing, I hope everyone takes the opportunity to play this game at least once in their lives1 found this helpful
A unique change on the normal games that DONTNOD makes they make very emotional interactive games that don't really change whether you choose choices or not other words the choices don't really matter but in the end their games are really enjoyable and the stories are good. Unfortunately I feel Tell Me Why falls a bit under standard as the game while is only 3 chapters long does create a good but not great story for both the main characters. The whole game is really just about two siblings fighting about their OWN relationship as well as THEIR relationship as siblings it really is a conflicting story that doesn't really has a great impact. The story is an good run through but in the end you will most likely get the basic ending and only very specific choices matter if you want to change the story giving it a good but nothing special story 6/101 found this helpful
I never write reviews on anything, ever. But this is genuinely the best game I've ever played. At first I was amazed by the creativity of the story, the way it's played, the representation, the little details like steps in the snow.. and then I got hit with the layers to the story, but it didn't end there. The memories were so well done, the scary ones actually terrifying so you're not just watching it, you're experiencing it with them. It made me cry so many times especially because it reflected parts of my own life I've been healing with myself. Genuinely absolute masterpiece and I'll definitely replay it several times to catch all the things I've missed1 found this helpful
If you're into the Life is Strange game series, you will enjoy playing Tell Me Why. It is LGBTQ+ friendly and has a well-written heartfelt storyline about grief and the unconditional bond siblings can have.
As a queer and trans person i really love this game and how transmen are rappresented. Aside from the mom and a few characters, most of the cast is very open-minded and welcome to Tyler's identity and that is really refreshing to see in a queer game.
overall as a game: A strong twin relationship stroytelling and gameplay is good yeah, i like this game
