EDENGATE: The Edge of Life

Short game, walking simulator but still i believe the environment and levels of the game was great.

Even before reading that this was developed during the pandemic I assumed it was one of 'those' games. Atrociously terrible. Just that. Terrible.

I'm surprised it is not categorized as a walking simulator. However, it does say linear so take it with a grain of salt. The only real gameplay is trying to get all the steam achievements. Story Rich? Well .... maybe. I found that after a couple of hours (3 if your super slow) I was shocked by a scene change and had to ask "Wait what? Is the game over?" Something started to happen and I thought I must have been wrong, but turns out it was just loading the credit reel - it was indeed over. After spending a few reflective moments, I have a satisfactory explanation of the story which I won't post here. I have no idea if it aligns with the author's vision or intent. I don't think you won't get it from this game either. The events and images given in the beginning and end never tie together well enough to get you to "ah hah!" You will have to make it up yourself. If it is story rich, it ain't in the player's bank. Its cheap, well done, no real bugs and the music/atmosphere is above average. Good break from the day.

the game could have been better and the game was bugged need to be fix and the charter needed to be fix too and the settings Fullscreen is bugged too i was so mad at the game for that game was not worth $5 why because the game bugged and the story was could have been a lot better but thank you got the gameplay.

I actually liked this game very much Everything about it is beautiful, the graphics and the characters' voices The music is so deep and touched my heart so much I hope to support the Arabic language in future projects Thanks for this
