Cosy factory builder with puzzle-like elements, both block arrangement planning, and space use planning. Each island provides it's own challenges as your factory grows. I found the tech lore a little 'generic' and hard to follow at times so I don't know if I'll 'finish' it. The tasks (as with many of these games, e.g. Shapes/2, the task/objectives grow exponentially, meaning larger and larger scaling. Having restrictive land-masses to use plays against this a little however, even with blueprint style libraries of factory modules. Lovely game though, would still recommend for the first 'half' alone.

Love this game. Similar to Shapez 2 in regards to it more chill approach. I already have 20ish hours in this one and it felt like 2hr. Instead of combining various shapes to make a new shape you start with something similar to a Rubiks cube, then use various machines to cut, paint, stamp, assemble, monochrome machine and others to create various shapes that actually become parts of to plants that make science packs/shard things, refinarys, robotics manufacturer ect.. The cool part is you get to watch cranes assemble buildings with the very shapes you created. Very cool. This one kept popping up in my recommended I didnt really think it looked that cool but I was so very wrong. Very fun game and one I could see my self putting hundred of hours into like I did satisfactory, foundry, dyson sphere, shapez.. If you like logic, automations type games you will absolutely love this one. I can absolutely assure you. Buy it you wont regret it.

I had a lot of fun with this one! The build it yourself principle for your moduls gives you the feeling that you are really "solving" the parts you have build instead of just shoving the right resources into a machine and wait till you build enough. Plus the fact that you don't need power or building mats for everything you put down was very refreshing. After reaching the endgame, I took a break from this game and when I returned started a new game. When I was reaching the end game again I discovered that blueprints carry over between saves, and I was able to see how I built endgame parts in my original save. I was surprised to see that I ended up with completely different approaches and lines in these two saves wich shows me a strenght of this build your own part system. It's really a puzzle game disguises as a factory builder. I do have to say that the last part of the game was a way too easy. The final parts you need to build look impressive at first, but they are actually nothing special compared to the first parts you create. They mostly consist of a lot of different colors and when you reached this point, this is really not a issue or problem. I would love to see a DLC …

Pretty much a relaxing game, where you don't have to pay for builds, nor lose any money for rebuilding. As you progress across the islands, you're free to tear down old constructions and make your huge factory for efficient and production. You don't have to start a new game. You just tear the old stuff down and rebuild. I'm less than halfway through the progression, and I'm having fun in a relaxing way. Ultra-cool gaming, no stress, mind-bending fun tyring to work out efficient builds. Enjoy.

One of the best automation games as far as I'm concerned. The emphasis is on finding room to place your machines, and wasting none of the resources. There's a lot of Tetris in there, both in machine placement and in optimizing the actual production operations. A lot of quality-of-life functionality that I'll be sorely missing in other games. And the way everything interacts, the way production lines are balanced, is very clever.

Great puzzle-solving sets this relaxing factory automation game apart from any I've played. You're not just trying to fit the buildings together and route resources, you're also trying to shape the voxels in as few steps as possible. If you enjoyed shapez, or need a break from your stressful Factorio Deathworld, I think you'll love this game.
