✦ AI summary

Thick As Thieves is a co-op stealth game with an appealing aesthetic and Dishonored-like design that players find enjoyable in short bursts, but it suffers from severe lack of content with only two maps and two characters, abandoned development, and significant technical issues including desync problems and poor AI behavior. Most players feel the game is only worth considering at a very low price point given its incomplete state and minimal replayability, though a few found enough fun in its core mechanics to justify a budget purchase.

The game is no longer receiving updates. There are only 2 characters and 2 maps. Not worth your time unless you think 5 dollars is worth that.

The aesthetic is beautiful and the idea of co-op stealth game is always exciting, but there is just no content and no follow through. There are apparently two maps (I only ever played on the first one) with no changes or procedural alterations to keep things new. The mechanics are classic stealth tools with no work put in to make them unique. I was excited when I found this and bought it on release, but it unfortunately is a dissapointment.

i knew its not finished and never will. but still a huge disappointment. AI has brainrot and u can just run around and co op is useless

I took a chance on this game in spite of the reviews because all the complaints were about it being short or being unfinished... but it's like five bucks. I think it's great tbh. It's got that dishonored stealth feeling with that priority on finding fun shiny stuff, forgiving enemies if not a bit repetitive but I've been enjoying it. I haven't even played it with my friends yet, so I imagine it will be even more fun provided the networking is good. If I don't revisit this review then it was fine!
