FINAL FANTASY IX

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic game. My first RPG I've ever completed, I recomend this to anyone who likes games at all.

Played it when it came out on console.. It was fun then, and fun now.. Going back to my FF roots.. It was bit frustrating to sort out PC keyboard commands.. Configuration is where you find exit game.. You have to scroll a ways down to find it.. Also, Calling a moogle to save while exploring isn't correct, it is B .. not F4.. I found it by just hitting all the keys once to see what they did.. So a few things made it more difficult than necessary, but worth the effort to figure it out..

Essentially if Lord of the Rings was an anime. 90/10

After my bad experiences with FF VII and VIII, IX did everything right for me. We’re back to the traditional setting of FF I–VI, with more dialogue and lots of trophies to collect. The game also offers a generous selection of boosters for players who would rather skip most of the game’s boring combat The game’s story is very well written and executed to perfection. This game encouraged me to continue with the franchise after nearly giving up on it after VIII. It’s been a while since I said this, but thank you, Square Enix. Wonderfully crafted!

Huge improvement over VIII, and I mean gigantic, it's like Square remembered how to make a game/story after that mess. Incredible game across the board, a 9.5/10, highly highly recommend it.

classic RPG, remastered version is great to play at a faster speed and sharper graphics
