Wish I checked the negative reviews more thoroughly before buying this, even though I got it on sale. Needing a third party tool just to get the cutscenes to work is unacceptable, but after mods and using UNX I had a pretty great experience with FFX FFX-2 is another story. It has crashed at the logos and ormi fight every single time (which occurs like 10 mins into the game, with no autosaves). I've changed all the graphic settings I could think of, turned off mods, turned them on again... It is genuinely unplayable. I should've refunded this game after experiencing the green screen bug...1 found this helpful
FFX has a very nice emotional story, and the leveling system is very nice. FFX I would rate just below FFVI in the stack comparing against FF1-9. FFX-2 on the other hand is utter garbage, I would rank it the worst FF I have plated thus far (FF1-10). (Played on PS5)

It crashes -a lot-, extremely annoying
To this day, this is still my favourite all time game, the story telling is amazing, the combat system is (imo) great even though it is turn based combat. It is the Final Fantasy I would recommend as a starting point for newcomers if they wish to tryout the turn based FF games. 10/10 if I could forget a game to go through it with a clean slate again this would be the one.
