✦ AI summary

DARQ: Complete Edition is a uniquely creative puzzle game built around lucid dreaming mechanics and gravity-bending puzzles that introduce fresh concepts in nearly every level, with striking Tim Burton-esque visuals and environmental storytelling. Players consistently praise its inventive puzzle design and atmospheric presentation, though some find it relatively short and note that certain achievements may feel tedious for those not interested in speedrunning.

Heck yeah I'll recommend this! I was expecting a puzzle game with horror elements, and I got an experience! Its a bit short, or as I'd like to say: "Bite sized" that isn't to it's detriment. with a small collectible hunt, and being bad at puzzles, you can easily stretch this game out. The DLC just add more fun to it. While the tower was a breeze, I struggled in the crypt! any way! loved it, hope you have fun if you decide to play :)

(I got this title in a Humble Bundle bundle.) I don't know wtf is going on in it, but this game is pretty good. Unique puzzles in every level. Good animation. Scariness if you're into that sort of thing.

Have you ever realized you were dreaming and tried to control your surroundings? DARQ takes this exact lucid dreaming concept and turns it into a brilliantly crafted puzzle game. The art style feels like it came straight out of a Tim Burton movie—dark, gothic, and wonderfully eerie. Where the game truly shines is its gravity mechanics. When you get stuck in a room, you can literally walk up the walls or onto the ceiling, bending the physics of the environment to solve puzzles. Trying to sneak past the occasional, disturbingly designed creatures also keeps the tension at just the right level. There isn't a single word of text or dialogue to read. The game explains everything purely through its visual language and environmental design. There are no heavy text dumps or language barriers to worry about; you just dive straight into the flow of the world. The biggest plus of the Complete Edition is the two included DLCs (The Tower and The Crypt). Their level designs and puzzles are even more ruthless and brain-melting than the base game. It’s a short experience, clocking in at around 3-4 hours total, but thanks to its mechanics, not a single minute feels wasted. If you enjoy puzzle g…
