Very good game, not sure why so many negatives. My only complaint is that I can't seem to get my questions answered.

this game is butt laggs like crazy rather play other backroom games

4/10, its functional, but thats about it. it doesnt really have anything special to it, its just overwhelmingly mediocre

Backrooms Media takes the increasingly familiar liminal-horror concept and builds a surprisingly broad cooperative survival experience around it. Rather than relying exclusively on endless yellow corridors and sudden monster chases, the game combines exploration, environmental dangers, puzzles, entity encounters, equipment management, procedural elements, and cooperative objectives. It supports solo play as well as groups of up to four players, although its mechanics appear most naturally suited to friends communicating and surviving together. NPK Games serves as both developer and publisher, delivering a project with plenty of ideas even if the overall execution can feel rough around the edges. The environments are among its most important features. Backrooms Media expands well beyond the stereotypical Level 0 presentation by sending players into distinctly themed locations. Areas such as the Bunker, Dark Woods, Pink Labyrinth, Parking Lot, and deeper portions of Level 0 create different visual moods while introducing their own obstacles. Some environments expose players to extreme temperatures, others incorporate radiation or darkness, while maze-like locations emphasize navigat…

This game definitely does not deserve the mass hate and such critical reviews. It is playable, and it is not that bad. I have played quite a few backrooms games and this one is not the worst one. It is a little empty, and an inventory would be quite a good idea, I also think that scarier ambience would go a long way. My favourite part of this backrooms game is that it had very unique levels that I had not seen before in any other back rooms game. I also did love the addition of the new monsters. It keeps it exciting and new and gives you those 'WHAT IS THAT?!' moments. It is definitely a good game to complete with a friend just to add to the collection of backrooms games. :)
