✦ AI summary

Old Market Simulator is a relaxing, gently-paced casual sim that rewards patient exploration and gradual progression without the pressure of timers or forced dailies. Players praise its chill atmosphere, balanced difficulty curve, and freedom to play at their own pace, though some note it starts slow and can feel grindy. The game appears well-suited for players seeking a low-stress experience they can pick up and put down, with one suggestion that harvest timers for crops would improve clarity in the gardening system.

Hello! I really nice add on for the gardening feature would be to know the remain time until harvesting the crops! While i really enjoy the Roman Market, it s quite hard to know when the crops will harvest - Hopefully you guys might take this into consideration! All the best!

Deeper game than I expected

This game sets exactly the right pace and feels incredibly chill and rewarding. You don't unlock everything too quickly but nothing feels completely out of reach either. I've been looking for a game just like this and I'm so happy I found it.

IT IS A RELAXING GAME!
Recommended Sep 6, 2026
It is slow at the start, but this is actually a pretty decent casual, marketing sim. I value that it does not hold your hand. There is no tutorial, but there is a wiki that you can locate in-game that answers most of your questions. I like that I can explore and unlock things a little bit at a time. It keeps me interested in what comes next. It can be a bit grindy, but it's gently paced, which makes it less frustrating. There is no energy bar to deplete and time doesn't force you to get things done before the end of a day. You get to decide when to sleep, save, and start again. A world you can pick up and put down as you want to. Basically this is a game that encourages you to explore and work on things, but the tasks are not timed and do not force you to do things. Getting your store up and running, like real life, will take time but there is still plenty of other content awaiting you as you progress. I like the feel of it and I look forward to new updates. My only gripe is that the town's layout makes it hard to find everything; feel like I'm running around like a chicken on cocaine. An in-game map would be useful for this. Otherwise I'd say it's worth the price and the patience…
