Alaskan Road Truckers

I’m rewriting this review for the second time. My verdict ought to be negative, yet I’ve played it—and still play it occasionally—and I’ve actually enjoyed myself. I remain convinced that a driving simulation where the least polished aspects are the physics and steering wheel compatibility cannot warrant a positive verdict. However, there are several truly remarkable features. For years, players have been asking the developers of ETS2 and ATS (the genre leaders) to introduce seasons, snow, and the ability to get out of the vehicle and interact with the environment... only to be told it’s impossible. Yet here, a small studio has done an impressive job (the combination of seasons and the Alaskan climate is awesome!). On top of that, there are RPG elements that I find work perfectly in this type of simulator. Unfortunately, the game doesn't feel fully polished; it seems a bit unfinished, which is a shame. I’m somewhat torn, but ultimately, my verdict remains negative.

I love driving through the snowy roads of Alaska alone eating hot dogs and earing a good sum of money, needs more updates.
