Stilt Fella

A friend bought this for me and immediately I hated myself, my fingers, the game, and the controls. In the end, I raced my other friends that she bought this for as well. I don't know who won, and it doesn't matter because all I will ever think of is how much I hate stilts.

This is one of those games, that lives and dies by its unique movement and controls, It's pretty hard at first, but once your brain adapts, it is a lot of fun. I wish it was more popular as I would love to have more games in the genre.

Stilt Fella is a wonderfully strange physics-based challenge that takes one of the most ordinary actions in video games, walking forward, and turns it into the entire obstacle. Developed and published by September Games, the game builds its identity around controlling a character attempting to navigate increasingly complicated courses while balanced on stilts. If you like getting good at difficult things, this game is crazy satisfying and frustrating. It felt fair all the way through. The way the devs introduce new challenges and then leave them for the next idea as soon as you've beaten it... just sadistic and insane. Amazing game.

Honestly pretty fun, gets difficult pretty suddenly. Worth it on sale for 3-4 bucks. Funny cosmetics among other things.
