Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot

Way to less Content! They make stupid seasons for original Despots game but this game get nothing. Way to less content. Way to less content. Super Mario World offers more then this. Konfa tripple idiots suck my Despot.

Fun little action roguelite. Not very feature rich, but the art more than makes up for it. I would recommend it. pros: Beautiful art, fun power-ups, great animations cons: There isn't a whole lot more in hour 20 than there is in hour 2

A Vampire Survivors in a cuter/slime-y outfit. BUT one of the most important differences I personally think is that Slime 3K focuses more on the "effects" or "performance" of weapons and passives when it comes to battle, instead of just how powerful they are. There's a huge variety of them, and each one feels very theatrical. Seeing them all combo together and fire off every few seconds in neon colors is so cinematic. It might not be for people who want to min-max insane weapon combos and upgrades for massive damage in a weapon-y visual. But the firework-like gameplay with its colorful pixel art, plus all the weird, non-weapon-y weapons (like a stretching hand like Luffy, throwing bananas and watermelons, a cute little satellite protecting you, or summoning tentacle monsters) fit my vibe way better. They are actually way stronger than they sound! But man I got all the way to the final stage and hit reset, so my very last achievement is still locked. NEVER reset the stage.

Definitely a unique take on the genre! It does not conform to your "typical survivor-like" rules - not really. It has a certain style you get used to, and until you find a good combination to break the game, it might feel quite tough. It definitely does something interesting with level progression - when each new level is different, and might require adjusting your strategy - so it keeps things fresh. That said... it's sometimes a little uneven. There's definitely one level that spiked the difficulty to the max, while following levels felt much easier in contrast. It definitely has the silly vibe of previous games, and does its own thing here - but it might not be your typical brainded-horde-murdering.

This game is a banger! You have to get familiar with all of the game mechanics, though! This is where a lot of bad reviews come from. Most of these reviews underestimate how many game mechanics there are to get ahead in the game. I just found out about a lot of them by accident. Things could just be explained better, but that’s like wanting a strategy game to tell you what strategy would be the best, which would miss the whole point of having to find the perfect strategy in a video game in general. This game is a lot of fun if you know what you’re doing, but you have to use your brain!

So if you're into those vampire survivor like games this one is a hit! It's not revolutionary different but way better then most of the games in that genre. I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for the creativity it brings to the table but I had some serious performance issues in some levels which is absurd if you look at the grafics. It must be some coding/optimization issue since my pc can't be the problem. Apart from that I'd recommend it to all survivor seekers.
