The Keep

This game is pretty short, have some a smartphone mechanism in gui, but overall it's a good game with a potential square fighting style, some progression, and easy puzzles (especially if you grew up playing DM, OoB, or other classic games).

Simple short dungeon crawler, nice visuals ^^ I recommend it!

The Keep is pretty good classical style dungeon crawler. Some RPG, puzzles, traps and monsters. Just one adventurer, no party. Magic system stands out from other similar games. In this one, player can combine magic runes on board. Board space and runes are limited, so it actually is one puzzle more. Creatures are vulnerable or immune to different elements. Good rune board can provide many different spells. Battle system has some unique features too. There is gesture system, which should give more deadlier attacks. I never quite figured out how to use it. It could be bit more polished, controls and playability mostly. And dungeons could have more variety. Not best dungeon crawler, but still fun to play.

7/10 Not bad but could be better Pros + grid based crawler - there arent too many of those and I like them very much + nice graphics + quite interesting levels + cheap Cons - short - unbalanced - melee combat is pointless or at least very weak comparing to magic. End game opponents may be impossible to beat if you werent investing in magic - tiresome swipe mechanics - not interesting character development (because magic is the only good path and its all about one stat). Only one character to develop (no party). Not much equipment variety.

Mobile aesthetics aside, it's not bad. Interesting combat system, good balance between puzzles and fighting. Has some flaws mainly the ui but it's easy to get used to.
