About Roll'd

Enter the world of Roll'd where rolling comes in at a new degree.

In this arcade, multiplayer-focused endless runner you will be fine as long as you remember the twist: you do not control the hero...you control the track.

Challenge yourself and your reflexes to keep the track level for as long as possible. Sounds easy? Why not give it a try to see for yourself?

Now introducing: MULTIPLAYER!

Invite some friends over for a local game or catch up for a match online...it's time to get rolling! Single player is available as well, so hit the road best your previous record and unlock all the goodies: new runners, locations, themes and difficulties.

Run through the varying settings all specifically stylized with references and inspirations ranging from the CGA era, through 8-16bit NES/SNES to the golden ages of the Amiga and more. But at the same time they are all up to date with modern lighting effects, dynamic weather and some other cool visual treats.

But be wary though, Roll'd can and will be unforgiving and reaching that extra point with each game will prove to be a demanding yet exciting task.

✦ AI summary

Roll'd is a fast-paced arcade runner with simple controls and a minimalist design that players appreciate for its accessibility and potential as a casual multiplayer experience. However, reactions are mixed, with some players finding the core mechanic of navigating a collapsing path engaging while others feel the gameplay becomes repetitive or frustrating with its difficulty.

Roll’d, developed by MGP Studios and published by Forever Entertainment S. A., is a fast-paced arcade runner that distills its gameplay down to a single, relentless idea: keep moving or fall. It embraces a minimalist design philosophy, stripping away unnecessary systems and focusing entirely on reflex-driven movement, tight timing, and the constant pressure of a world that literally collapses behind you. The result is an experience that is easy to grasp within moments but demands precision and focus to truly master. At the center of the game is its core mechanic—guiding a rolling sphere across a path that disintegrates as you progress. There is no option to slow down or stop, only to adjust direction, jump gaps, and react to hazards in real time. This creates a continuous sense of urgency that defines every moment of play. The controls are simple and responsive, making the game accessible from the outset, but the increasing speed and complexity of level layouts quickly raise the challenge. What begins as a straightforward test of movement evolves into a demanding exercise in anticipation and reaction. Level design is where Roll’d finds much of its strength. Each stage presents a …
Roll'd — a one-euro mobile game, and that's fine
TL;DR: Recommended for the right audience, at the right price. I played six minutes and didn't enjoy it, but at €1 I'm not going to call that a bad deal. I want to be upfront: I played about six minutes. I had no real fun with it, and I didn't feel any pull to grind out achievements for my completion percentage either. So take this as a very short sample.
What it is
A basic endless runner. It feels exactly like a mobile game — and I mean that descriptively, not as an insult. The loop is simple, the goal is a higher score, and that's the whole thing. To its credit:

There seem to be a decent number of levels
Several different characters
Stats are tracked
The catch is that the characters, as far as I could tell, all play identically. Different visuals, same game. There are no meta progression systems, no permanent upgrades — just levels and skins.
Steam Deck: works out of the box
Small but real plus: launch it on Deck and it's immediately fully functional. No template swapping, no fiddling. The menu works properly too — pressing Achievements opens the achievement menu …
