Merry Glade

Merry Glade is weird, but it's not bad. The visual style of the game reminded me of Happy Tree Friends in a way, with the seemingly cute animals turning violent and all the gore. In terms of actual gameplay, it's fine. It's serviceable enough for a short puzzle game like this, but the constant clicking in order to move gets pretty annoying after a while. I couldn’t see myself playing more than an hour of a game like this without some better controls or more interesting segments/puzzles, so thankfully the game is short. It only took me around 40 minutes to finish it, and I feel like any longer would have dragged the game out a needless amount.

Cute and short puzzle game, but I would recommend having auto clicker on standby.

A gory puzzle game in a cartoon style, largely lacking in substance, save for a couple of in-between levels that attempt at least some gameplay innovation, though with little success. 3.2/10

The description says "you'll find all the answers in this game" but you don't actually find any answers, just more questions, such as "what was this person smoking when they made this game?". But regardless, it's a very fun little game that's mainly a puzzle-solving and trap-avoiding adventure, but switches to a top-down shooter and a side-scrolling shooter as well. It's pretty short; it only took me about 1 hour to 100% the game but it is very fun and I think it's worth the money. My only real complaint is that the hitboxes of explosions are much bigger than their graphical radius resulting in a lot of deaths that I didn't feel were warranted. Besides that, it's a nice little game.
