Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition

This is a beautiful game with boring questlines, poor design choices and uninteresting combat. I can remember the hype this game had when it came out, a hype that I am glad I didn't buy into.

At the time of writing this review, I’ve played around 11.4 hours of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition on PC, simply because I had already completed the game on PlayStation. The Complete Edition is an excellent PC port and still holds up extremely well. The later Remastered version gave the game a finer visual polish and brought it noticeably closer to Forbidden West in presentation, but I wouldn’t call the difference between the two versions colossal. And, ultimately, this is still Horizon Zero Dawn — the original story, the beginning of Aloy’s journey, and the game that introduced this extraordinary world in the first place. Even after everything that came later, there’s something special about returning to where it all began. The mystery, the atmosphere, the world and the emotional weight of discovering Aloy’s story for the first time remain just as important as ever. It was the game that made me fall in love with the Horizon franchise. Absolutely recommended — 5/5!

Fun, looks good, great story so far.
