About 5 Star Miami Resort

In the Champions League of hotel management Lucy has to tackle her next mega project: creating a ground-breaking hotel resort in Miami. And you are her helpful assistant! Which means you're automatically involved in all aspects of the project.

Soon you'll realize that things are quite different in Magic City: now you have to overcome obstacles on linked boards. In some cases you need torches to actually see obstacles. Buildings influence your gameplay, too. As soon as the first guests arrive at your hotel you have to keep their satisfaction level as high as possible.

Are you going to turn your Miami Resort into yet another success story?
 • Clever hotel construction: Create a mega hotel resort with 25 buildings which impact your gameplay
 • Extended boards: Now you can play on linked boards extending over several screens
 • It's all about the right strategy: Choose from exciting Match 3 gameplay with a limited number of turns or a more casual experience on Relax mode.
 • New gameplay experience: Use torches to spot hidden obstacles, and beware of reinforced wooden crates
 • Engage in in-game dialogues: Try out several hilarious multiple choice answers (which won't change the story)
 • Entertaining challenges: Creative challenges and achievements will make sure you will need to use all your talents

I'm a pretty simple person; there are times when I just want a pretty match-3 game and I don't need much story. I usually like this developer's games, but this one didn't click with me, mostly because of the interface. The pieces don't move right; they're slow and they drag like the game is lagging, which it obviously doesn't have the hardware requirements to do. For a mindless diversion, it's got to have that feel, you know? I'm playing Last Resort now, which is from the same developer and basically the same game except zombies, and it's fine.

same as rio and hawaii before, the most generic match-3 experience, but pretty much the only thing rokaplay is somewhat (and sometimes) competent at. still has annoyances (tiles spreading in real-time, cascades not making power-ups that still can't be moved, etc.) but all 96 levels are matching here, no arcade crap this time. it takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever for a bomb to appear when there are no moves left though. it's also a lot more simplified (as in, basic): no specific guest requests, the easiest difficulty without move limit is automatic 3 stars instead of 1, no optional solitaire mini-game, no music, etc.). if you liked the ones before, why not (on deep sale), otherwise there are better options even in this series.

5 Star Miami Resort is a casual puzzle and management game developed and published by familyplay that combines hotel development systems with match-based gameplay to create a laid-back experience centered around expansion, progression, and resort building. Set against the backdrop of Miami’s luxury tourism atmosphere, the game places players in charge of helping build a premium vacation destination while solving increasingly demanding puzzle challenges. Instead of focusing on deep simulation systems, it delivers an accessible management experience designed around gradual growth and rewarding progression. The game follows Lucy as she takes on another ambitious hospitality project, this time stepping into the fast-moving resort industry of Miami. Players assist in transforming an underdeveloped property into a successful luxury destination capable of attracting visitors and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. The story exists primarily to support progression rather than drive the experience with heavy narrative focus, but it provides enough motivation to make expansion goals feel purposeful as the resort slowly evolves from a simple property into a thriving attraction.…

Miami resort is follow up of Hawaii Resort. Which is a match 3 game (align 3+ tiles to make matches). It is quite light too (<200Mb) and thus takes no time to download and launch. The background story didn't strike me, so ... not much to say. This game contains the expected bonuses when matching more than 3 tiles (bomb, lightning, etc.). etc. More of the same as in previous episode. Main differences: - weapons added (filling up when matching a specific kind of tile) - cascading matches don't create bonuses There are 96 levels. Levels that are only match 3. I just bought this game and wanted to try it out - and ended up finishing it (about 6h in normal mode). Once again, some (very few) levels are badly balanced with definitely too few moves allowed. To get 3 stars at every level, expect some replaying. I've played this on Win7 without any issue.

the game was meh and I had the incentive to finish the entire thing but when I reached the last level it just ends abruptly. there is no music in the game and I don't think your dialogue choices matter.
