This game is alright and I'd say an average space shooter. Your mission is to destroy all the star bases while also avoiding asteroids and enemy space ships. $10 USD seems a bit high for what the game seems to offer but that's only based on my first impressions of this game. I like the retro mode more then the modern mode, but that's because the background on the modern mode seems to distract from what's going on and also because I think your shots sound a lot more annoying and high pitched in the modern mode. There's five different types of power-ups that really just change your type of shots. I feel that there should be more to this game for a $10 price tag. Money to collect, more power-ups, boss battles perhaps? There's also no story and just doesn't feel like enough to compel me to play it very long. I'd also like to see your ship have a full 360 degree rotation vs the 8 directional movement seen in this game. It would make it far more fun to play. Adding flair like a trail you leave when thrusting might also add some pizzazz. Also, why does this game require a controller? This game could be easily programmed to use WASD and mouse button to fire, W to thrust, and A …

A fun little retro shooter that evokes a certain arcade space shooter. Runs smooth. Early access, so I'm expecting a bit of polish and it to improve over time. Still its a lot of fun now if you like old arcade games.

Game seems to require a controller. With a controller plugged in the game ran without any issues. I tried retro and modern, kinda dug the feel of retro mode. The difficulty increases by adding different mobs that do new stuff.. By level 12 or so it was starting to feel like Gungeon bullet hell. If you like older arcade shooters this might scratch an itch for you.

Just tried it on my Steam Deck and it works great. Fun little homage to Bosconian.
