Dwarf Fortress

Nice base structure, and nice stead updates, but core problem always remains, this game doesnt make good use of multi threads CPU and even with a monster machine still ends up beeing able to lagout almost every game at one point, you will spend hours on building this nice system only to end up on unavoidable stalls such as 98% of dwarvs not worrking, sleeping or eatin, simply stuck there no jobs while you have 1500x things un done i find that the more dwarfs you get the more this problem occurs into various ways, like over socialising and never leaving taverns mixed with the snow/rain effects + water/lava tiles finding a none laggin combo is actuly harder than learning the game it self and FYI, bought and tryd this game on a normal common PC to start with, now on a 64GO ram + waterforced 5080 on DDR5 and 100% SSD's with bloody 24 Cores and a cartoon style game lags more than EVE online with 15x freken clients simultanous

If it clicks for you like it did for me you might just play 90+ hours in the 1st 2 weeks like i did..

I've never played a game so in depth as Dwarf Fort. The graphics aside, if you love deep mechanics and emergent stories then you WILL LOVE this game.

Super complicated, and not very intuitive, but very interesting. I wish it was easier to navigate via keyboard, since there's a lot of interaction that needs to happen

Legendary game, the most passionate developers ever, only 1 GB and it still can give you hours and hours and hours of fun! This game is unique amongst all other. Highly recommend!
