Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War® – Winter Assault

Play the unification mod, the base game is good but the unification adds replayability.

It's more DoW, so that's good. But it's also a genuinely miserable experience at times. Most missions allow you no time to learn new units, it's always a race against time, and even on Normal difficulty (which is actually Easy) the campaign just relentlessly assaults you with waves and waves of enemies, giving you no time to breathe. I guess it captures the Imperial Guard a bit too well.

Its OG Warhammer 4000 Order vs Disorder. Multiplayer is dead obviously, so try campaign. Campaign is for you if enjoy sweating while you game in the W4k universe (the irony of which is, campaign starts on a frozen planet), as it throws so much at you so quickly even on normal difficulty. For a newcomer to the series, its the equivalent of asking your by the book Religious friend to come over check out your seks dungeon... it aint gonna work. This game is for you if you're a hardcore fan of the series
