✦ AI summary

Players praise the campaign as outstanding and say it holds up well for Warhammer 40K fans, but criticize the loot system for leaving characters severely underequipped, especially on non-corruption builds. Common complaints also include cheap enemy ambushes, infinite spawns, and frustrating achievement requirements that force replaying the first game's content.

Campaign is still awesome, but pick up Retribution if you want to play the multiplayer.

This is the continuation of the DoW2 which honestly is a disappointment You barely get any armor/weapons and sure, there is quite a lot for corruption gears but when you are planning to only use the purity route, the drops are pretty bad. I am lvl 30 and I am using the followings: FC: Terminator armor lvl 30 but a lvl 16 weapons because the game did not drop one hammer/shield gear nor powerfist/gun... Tarkus: Legendary armor lvl 27 but using a normal lvl 26 plasma gun... Cyrus: I donate a relic and got a lvl 23 sniper but if not, I would still be using a lvl 18 sniper... and his armor is a lvl 15 armor because it is the ONLY armor that gives me a +2.5 regeneration which Cyrus entire toolkit revolves around energy -.-" Jonah the Grey Knight: A new unit which I dont even bothered because there is too much reading and spells involve that playing him would be such a waste of energy and time. He literally has around 10+ toolkit and it all revolve with equipment X armor or Y weapon so it is such a hassle. And etc Also they never solve that stuck issue where your units just froze and do nothing. All in all, if you didnt play the original DoW and jump into this game, you might s…

I'm giving this a down vote just because it also has the Achievements from the first Dawn of War 2 meaning you have to do those twice.

Uses infinite enemies and cheap ambushes where enemies just suddenly appear all around your squad giving you nothing to do

Phenomenal game, still holds up all these years later. If you are a fan of Warhammer 40K this game is a must play.
