About TAXIDERMY
Taxidermy is a first person horror experience with the 80's slasher aesthetics
Story
Alex is a great fan of taxidermy and he just bought a new product on the internet with the "Taxidermy Brothers", but it was never delivered.
After several months, Alex is going on an event right in the city of the store. On the way back to home, Alex decides to stop on the Taxidermy Brothers Store/House to get his product.
He just didn't expected to get locked inside the house of an insane taxidermist
Now, surviving is up to you!
- Feel the tension of beeing chased in a fast paced run
- Explore the creepy house to find your way out
- Beware with the "taxidermized" animals

Oh dear. Going to put this in the 'not for me' pile. I thought I would be bothered by the dead animals and stuff because I'm ridiculously sensitive to hurt animals, Luckily, they were unrealistic enough that it didn't bother me at all. :) I liked the 80's slasher vibe an awful lot too! Why the down thumb then? Because the graphics did not work with my motion sensitivity at all. There was a 'breathing' motion that was much worse than any headbob I had experienced. So with everything being blurry from the vintage look and the heavy breathing that never ended, it was very difficult to play. And you can't turn the effects off. Ugh. Then there was the AI. I was walking through a brick hallway and I was accosted by what could only be described by fellow gamers as ear r*a*p*e(steam censors the word). Even with the volume on my headset being set to low, this terrible sound blasted into my ears right before the AI killed me. I looked in both directions when the sound happened and couldn't see a thing. Then dead. Yeah. Not really my thing. I'm glad that other folks were actually able to play this all the way to the end, but I can't hang. Sorry frands <35 found this helpful
Its decent for an indie horror game. I do like the 80's Lost footage feeling that you get from it. One thing i do NOT like however, is the really loud music that plays whenever the taxidermist sees you. It is far too loud, and if you want to hear anything in the game, you have to have your volume turned up and sacrifice your ears whenever he sees you4 found this helpful
Underrated Survival Horror Game1 found this helpful
not a bad little game. good scares, environment, and some weird things thrown in for good measure.
Overall, a Horrible game Pros - Some of the scares are very good - You will encounter some disturbing imagery - Checkpoints Cons: - Nonsensical Puzzles - Game uses disgusting visual filter to mask how bad it look. Prepare for a headache. - Bad platforming - The game has a suicide button in case you get stuck... Should tell you all you need to know
