Paranormal VHS

This one was good, I liked the style, the story was good, if a bit odd but the devil etc was unexpected at the end.

I've not seen a game fundamentally misunderstand gameplay mechanics like this. The game starts with your character walking at a snails pace before finally giving you the ability to sprint, which is then immediately taken away and forces you to walk even slower than before. On top of that you lose your ability to even use a flashlight for more than a split second and the game still goes on for another hour after that, forcing you to spam the F key over and over. There's quick time events that don't matter, a hide mechanic that only gets used 1 time despite hide spots being all around the map, jumpscares that don't mean anything, and puzzles that are just walking back and forth slowly. Do not waste your money on this.

Loved it! Great story, loved the direction given because you can lost and would love to see a sequel. But! I need achievements! 9.5/10 on the pear scale.

i was thinking to myself today how much VHS games look bad and give me head ache because they look soooo bad but this game changed my mind. The frame rate is excellent and the graphics are really nice too, the torch could have been a bit brighter in the distance and the jump scares got me 4 times and the build of creep is good too! thanks devs - 7.5/10

I enjoyed this game very much until the part where you go underground, the game got very drawn out. Otherwise had a great time, it had some good jump scares, would have liked to know more about the backstory than in the credits at the end.
