A conundrum of a game. SOO SIMPLE, YET SOO COMPLEX WTF. Push two buttons to do almost everything in game. Its to the point it kinda feels like an auto battler, but its not. You can choose to stand still, cast spells from afar or get in close to get hits in if your using a melee weapon. You pick up new gear as you go, and can sacrafice old gear to slightly lv up new gear. The class mechanics are amaxing, you mix and match different body parts to make your own super unique one and theres a lot of different combos to make its the best. You also choose a pet companion to tag along and kinda counts as a 4th body part. seems easy at first but even with high end gear you geat steam rolled right pretty quickly and progression feels difficult. You mainly unlock new parts for you body and pets for the first 15 hours. I havent gotten very far but I keep coming back to scratch this itch of one more run, with THIS combo this time and I'll focus ON THIS THIS TIME!!! lol Still havent had a win yet.

Great emergent gameplay in a roguelike that has parts of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Slay the Spire, Caves of Qud, and lots of other fun inspirations. But its completely unique.

See game on X. Fren on X says "Game good." I say "Comp potato." He says "Game easy on comp, game not like other games. Game run." I try demo. Hooked. Fren send game. IDK WHAT I'M DOIN BUT PRESS BUTTON. STAND THERE. SHINY! Next thing I know? Kill god. Next thing after that? Win. IDK what just happened but I need to play more lol. Play game if you enjoy shiny. Find things that align w/cool spells. OH! You can just press yourself to stand there. I didn't realize that. What a game. What a fever dream
