About Nordic Warriors
Inspired by the classic "Myth" series, Nordic Warriors is a Real Time Tactical game set in a world descending into an existential struggle for survival. You'll need smart strategy combined with tactical skills to survive the onslaught of undead hordes and their sorcerer allies. Come face to face with heroes, legends, demons and gods as you fight through the middle world and even enter the gates of Hel itself.

o Heroic brings more challenge & despair to those who are not swift, decisive… and lucky.
o Ragnarok will test the mettle of even the fiercest commanders: prepare for destruction! - Slaughter anyone or anything that comes by. Yes, even a deer or your friendly neighbor.

It was the beginning of winter. The darkening sky brought cold winds and falling leaves. Freja and her warriors had just returned to Kjos from a three days search of the forest with no success. It had been days since the foraging party failed to return on time. Where could their missing friends be? As they approached home, Freja felt something was wrong. In fact, she had never felt like this before, as if someone was squeezing her insides making it hard to breath. Perhaps they were just tired from the road, she thought… But it was quiet, too quiet. She looked into her friends’ eyes and confirmed - something was definitely wrong.
As they approached the village a horrible scene was revealed to them - Their entire village was killed by the undead. Men, women and children were massacred in a surprise attack with no chance of survival. Shocked by this horrible truth, the group decides to search and destroy this evil once and for all.
Embark on a journey and experience overwhelming encounters facing various undead enemies as you struggle for survival. Use smart strategy combined with tactical skills to complete different mission objectives and advance your way in the game. Follow the storyline and reveal a shocking secret that’s been hidden for many years.

Nordic Warriors, developed by Liron Peer and Roman Levin (Coldsteel48) and published by Mashmashu Studio, is an indie real-time tactical RPG that combines Scandinavian mythology with a bleak fantasy setting. The game opens with a tragedy that immediately establishes its tone: a group of warriors returns home only to discover that their village has been consumed by death and chaos. This event becomes the catalyst for an adventure that spans dangerous territories filled with undead creatures, monstrous beasts, and forces tied to the coming of Ragnarok. Rather than presenting itself as an epic kingdom-building experience, Nordic Warriors focuses on the struggles of a small band of survivors attempting to push back against overwhelming darkness. Its gameplay centers on tactical combat where each character serves a distinct purpose on the battlefield. Players command a party of heroes with different abilities, encouraging careful planning instead of reckless aggression. Positioning is vital, as battles can quickly become overwhelming when enemies attack from multiple directions. How I longed for this game, a supposed faithful remake of a game to which I devoted many, many hours - to be good. However, it is objectively worse than the original from 30 fuc king YEARS ago! The graphics are worse (if you can believe it!), the gameplay is clunkier, and enemies appear in formation out of fuc king nowhere! Seriously, in the original there was an ebb, flow, logic and rationality to how and why enemies entered into the frame...and I believed they were an army of undead! In this game enemies clunkily appear and engage in combat like the first fuc king Warcraft! There is no art or craft with this clunky game which would have been considered bad back in the nineties when we had far, far less choice. The developers really need to replay the original and comprehend WHY this game was great and retry because I would gladly retry if they did.1 found this helpful
