Submarine VR is a virtual reality exploration and simulation experience developed by EXTREMESOFT and published by EXTREMESOFT BILISIM REKLAMCILIK TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI that sets out to immerse players in the quiet, mysterious depths of the ocean. Rather than framing itself as a mission-driven simulator or a story-focused adventure, the game leans heavily into freeform exploration, inviting players to pilot a submarine through vast underwater environments and simply exist within the atmosphere of the deep sea. Its design philosophy prioritizes immersion, scale, and calm discovery over challenge or progression, positioning it firmly as a relaxed VR experience rather than a traditional game. From the outset, Submarine VR emphasizes the sensation of being inside a vessel beneath the waves. Sitting in the cockpit and descending into the ocean creates an immediate sense of scale that VR handles particularly well, especially as light fades and the surrounding water grows darker and more foreboding. Players are free to roam several different underwater zones, including coral reefs, open ocean, icy waters, and deeper, darker regions where visibility drops and the sense of isolation incre…

This is very bare bones, the VR scale is wrong, you feel like a child size pilot. There's nothing to do and the repetition of patterns on the textures and sea creatures start after the first 30 seconds. The controls are clunky, you can't map a joystick or HOTAS. Not sure why the poly count on the props is so low, calling those objects ship wrecks or airplanes, is a stretch of one's imagination.

I wish this game was deep as it shows but its about as shallow as most puddles. The water physics are amazing, but its let down by low definition graphics and repetitve scenery and fish. The fish look like 2d graphics plastered on poorly rendered 3d models and the scenery is just the same, is also pretty barren. You'll see all you need to see in about 20 minutes. I wouldn't bother, there are much better games of the genre out there.

It's hard for me to recommend at $10. Needs a lot more work to even be a base game. Recommendations are minimum since no updates in almost two years and probably abandoned. __Needs more settings options. Now a days with PC VR having more control on graphics I think is a must. __Reaction to objections. When hitting objects other then a slight sound seemed like they were more pushed out of the way. __Detail. Most environments are very basic, some clearly not even finished. The Titanic seemed like a nice grab, but could tell it didn't look finished.

It's an old game, and you see it in some oddities and textures, but if you find it on sale it's a relaxing game! You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/JCQWY9TzoOU

Very relaxing and chill (except the depths). Nothing to crazy or complex; just some fun exploring the ocean in a submarine. We need more VR submarine games.
