I love this game, devastated that it hasn't taken off and found the audience it deserves. If you're lucky enough to have stumbled upon this page, you've got a great opportunity to pick up an excellent little game very cheap. It's unfinished, but what's here is well worth the price in my opinion. Kapital Punishment 22XX is a platformer/brawler with a lot of Mega Man DNA in it. You free a bunch of fellow convicts along your journey, and they all deepen the gameplay with their own skills and mechanics. The story of fighting back against oppressors with a ragtag group of rebels enhances the sense of satisfaction I got from every challenging combat encounter, and it would be a real gift if we could someday get more of the story mode completed and released.

KAPITAL PUNISHMENT 22XX, developed by Morningstar Game Studio in collaboration with Dr. Shameless Cat Games and published by Morningstar Game Studio, is a fast-paced action platformer that merges retro aesthetics with modern design ideas, all wrapped in a deliberately harsh and politically charged dystopian setting. From the moment you step into its world, the game makes its intentions clear—it’s not just about movement and combat, but about surviving in a hostile system where everything is stacked against you. That sense of pressure carries through both its narrative framing and its moment-to-moment gameplay. The core experience is built around side-scrolling action that emphasizes mobility as much as combat. Movement feels fluid and responsive, allowing players to climb surfaces, leap across vertical spaces, and reposition constantly during encounters. This verticality is not just a visual flourish—it plays a central role in how the game unfolds. Enemies are not limited to flat ground; they pursue you across platforms, climb structures, and react dynamically to your positioning. This creates encounters that feel alive and unpredictable, where standing still is rarely an option a…

Pretty fun game the arcade mode is super enjoyable I didn't personally like the campaign but it's worth it on sale. A real shame the developers abandoned the game has a lot of potential but there's still a pretty decent amount of content as is.

game appears to be abandoned, which is unfortunate, as i really liked it initially! i've been waiting for an update for over two years, though, and i hope the dev(s) (i don't know if there're multiple or if it's just one) continue work on this eventually... will become a recommended if the game does receive updates

Pretty fun little retro platformer/beat em up type game. A shame it's probably never going to be finished, as the interest in the game was too low. I think if the dev had focused on making a tight arcade/roguelite experience, and developed it with that focus in mind, instead of spending time on a fairly underwhelming story mode, it might've done better.

Leaving a review to support the developers, I loved A Robot Named Fight and I'm looking forward to returning to this game when it's complete
