This games art style is incredibly cute and the music is very nice. The gameplay is fun and interesting, it reminds me a bit of battle network and parappa the rapper.

if this game had no visuals except the UI, I would still play it. the gameplay is incredibly satisfying to get right, the music is surprisingly catchy, and the roguelike aspect keeps every playthrough feel decently fresh. with the visuals, the game is incredibly cozy. absolute perfection

This game is remarkably fun. The rhythm nature of it keeps the action non-stop fast-paceed, with interconnected elements that all mesh remarkably well but keeps every character feeling unique. The music is fun, the characters are cute. When one of the biggest complaint I have is "I wish there was more" when I also have over 20 hours of enjoying myself playing the game, that's just because the game is *that fun.* It can certainly feel overwhelming when increasing the difficulty level, though part of that is that the tutorial is a bit rough. I spent about 10 hours without realizing I had skipped half of the tutorial- since the Tutorial in the main menu lets you end it early by defeating the opponent (I hadn't realized I was still missing half of it's information.) There's also a bit of roughness in how information is presented and conveyed- took me a long time to realize that the "on match" text of moves was referring to "if the player receiving the attack responds to it, [this effect]". But once you get past the learning curve, there's a lot to enjoy and experiment with.

eats inputs, game balance is all over the place, poorly explained mechanics i.e. hard to know what's even going on music's neat though, was having fun in the tutorial but certain characters just win just because.

This is one of the most unique games I've played. It's satisfying to learn and fun to master. Even better, the soundtrack is a 10/10. I will warn that it can get mechanically deep, but it lets you start off with just a subset of the mechanics to ease you into it.
