I am very sad to not recommend this game. I am always on the lookout for indie kaiju games but this was very disappointing. Negatives: The music loop was very annoying, there is a good music opening sting, but the actual loop is maddening. With no option to lower the volume for it, it would help if it was mixed better in game. The actual gameplay is more frustrating then fun. The destruction is very unsatisfying, with sometimes I am unable to tell if something is destroyed or not. I also often end up killing people when I try to pick them up, it is very inconsistent. It seems I cannot pickup the military guys for some reason. Often I try to very carefully destroy things as to not immediately kill the people that come out of it so I can eat them. Which does not always work and is not fun. The punching feels like it should be way faster, it was annoying to press punch only for nothing to happen. It is also just missing that fun factor and juice. For example I was so disappointed to learn that picking up the red barrels and throwing them would not make them explode. The levels are all very samey and bland. With the level objectives being sometimes impossible. I think killing the…

Very fun but very short little game. You play as a kaiju and you must eat people and defeat islands that keep getting more defenses. To combat the increasingly difficult island you can upgrade yourself after you defeat an island. I won it in a giveaway on Reddit but I would still be willing to spend the money on this game considering how fun it is. Like I said before it is very short, took me only 40 minutes to beat, but I will be watching out for future updates!

This game is the most fun I’ve ever had with any $2.39* title by a long shot. If it had come out when I was in my early twenties hanging out with friends all the time, this would already have at least a dozen hours of play among us. If you still enjoy the occasional round of Katamari Damacy and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, then this should strike some chord for you. It’s not either of those games and doesn’t play like them, but there’s a weird kinship among them. Also it would be great if we could either customize controls and/or remove the button to immediately exit without confirmation from the primary face buttons. *$2.39 at launch sale price, $2.99 regularly

It's a pretty chill Kaiju smashing romp on various islands. You aren't exactly Godzilla, but it's still quite a bit of fun. Pick up buildings, cars, smash little tiny soldiers and workers. Break stuff. Cause havoc. Not entirely sure what else to say to be honest. The game's a fun time.
