Across 10 stages, 28 bosses await, each possessing randomized special skills, making encounters unfold differently even with the same enemy. Bullet patterns are highly visible, demanding training and immediate adaptability. The robots you control are equipped with unique passives and main weapons, while sub weapons can be adjusted in placement and direction through formation slots. Upon leveling up, skills are chosen via a card draft system, and various random drops will further enhance synergies. Although still in early access, updates are frequent, with additions such as new sub weapons and the formation system, along with ongoing balance adjustments. With multilingual support covering UI, subtitles, and even voices, the environment is accessible to a wide range of players. The combination of player choice, build construction, and unpredictable boss battles creates considerable replay value. In general, my experiences with this game have been fantastic, and I'm very much looking forward to its continued development. With that said, it [i]is[/i] in Early Access, and is far from perfect. In some regards, it is already head and shoulders above games that are fully released, but in others, it needs considerably more polish and refinement to get up to par: Positives: · Enemy variety is fantastic. Most full release VS-likes don't have half the enemy variety that is in this game right now. Boss variety is especially noticeable, though the overall growth in power expected in VS-likes does mean that the differences between the bosses end up mattering less once you can burst them down...but it's still immensely more effort than is normal for the sub-genre. · The game [i]feels[/i] good to play. Movement speed, hitboxes, enemy generation...the intangible or frequently unnoticed qualities that give a game its overall moment-to-moment play experience are all handled very well here. · A variety of different meta-progression systems, some of which provide very interesting options and upgrades (and some don't; I don't really consider this to be a loss because providing perfectly balan…

A fast yet simple and solid old school top down shooter with different playstyles. The bosses are pretty tough but fair to fight. I do hope the developer adds a robot piloted by drill haired pilot which uses a drill lance and mining laser.
