✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the game's old-school gameplay style with modern polish and its gorgeous soundtrack, but many find the core experience becomes repetitive quickly. The upgrade system is criticized as shallow, offering only basic damage, rate of fire, and critical chance improvements with little mechanical depth or variety to sustain long-term engagement, and some players also report issues with harsh visuals that can cause discomfort.
The main problem for me is the games visuals. I suffer from migraines & I really don't like overly bright & contrasting visuals. It would help a lot of the game had brightness & contrast options, or alternate colour palates that are less harsh.
Not exactly a bad game, but rather boring. Let me talk about upgrades for a second. Upgrades to existing ability entirely consist of either damage, rate of fire, crit chance and crit damage. If you've played some similar games or arpg's - you know that your damage per second is the multiplication of all that, so to get max dps - you invest equally in all of the mentioned. This is not a problem in itself, many mechanics in many games - inside is just a game of numbers, and it's up to the actual rules and representation, that make the game interesting or not. With this game - there is very little mechanics apart from just plainly increasing your DPS, and the representation of the game, it's style, mechanics, gameplay loop, balance, diversity, responsiveness - is all rather bland. 5/10
Gets boring very quickly. Upgrade system is very shallow, as others reviewers have pointed out as well. New bot upgrade prices seem to increase linearly which leads me to believe the most expensive bots are the strongest.
Really cool game. Old school play style with modern polish. Throws you straight into the action. Just started and excited to go deeper.
really nice game, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous!!!
my best endless is level 107 :)
