WHAT IS IDLE XANXIA

Idle Xanxia is a system-driven idle RPG where progression comes from how you build your character.Start with nothing and grow stronger by:
  • allocating stats
  • choosing Dao paths
  • developing long-term synergies
Each decision impacts how your build performs over time.

BUILD YOUR CULTIVATOR

Progression is built around interconnected systems:
  • Attributes — define your core strengths
  • Dao Paths — unlock abilities and shape your strategy
  • Aspects — persistent passive powers tied to enemies
These systems interact to create different builds and progression paths.

REBIRTH AND LONG-TERM PROGRESSION

When you reach your limits, rebirth:
  • Keep key progression systems
  • Improve your next run
  • Push further each cycle
Rebirth is not a reset — it is progression.

BEYOND THE FIRST RUN

As you advance, new systems unlock:
  • Sect progression and structured advancement
  • New enemies, mechanics, and challenges
  • Additional layers of long-term growth
The game is designed around progression over multiple cycles.

✦ AI summary

Idle Xanxia is a relaxed cultivation idle game with beautiful backgrounds that appeals to players who enjoy long-term progression and minimal time commitment, though opinions diverge sharply on its design philosophy. Supporters praise its chill atmosphere and engaging community, while critics point to a significant shift toward time-gated content after the early stages and note that progression can feel opaque without external guides.

After stage/world 2 the game changes completely to time gated events where you click "start" and come back an hour later to "harvest". That's it. Unfortunate.

I liked the game in the earlier versions, but now the dev added a new mechanic that is another reset on top of the original prestige/reset mechanic. I don't want and idle game that has multiple reset mechanics in it to waste your time. also the new reset has a upper limit of 3 upgrades where as the original one let the player get all the upgrades they wanted to level up and carry over. It also seems like a slap in the face to long time players that spent the time to grind all the upgrades from the first reset loop to then lose then all now that they need to reset them from the second reset mechanic.

Too barebones, perhaps in a couple of years

Really Good with outstanding wallpaper like backgrounds. It's not demanding meaning it's for casual people who want to chill, enjoy the game of cultivation. We all know Cultivation requires time so there is no need to rush things... You can easilly play the game and do your chores or read a book. It has all that you need from Cultivation games. It's not flashy, it's not high end mega ultra 3D MMO RPG. It's just enjoyable, with no pressure... They have a great active discord community with is also fantastic. If you have any questions people will gladly help you.
