It takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to beat the game, but to actually beat it, you need to restart many levels from scratch. First of all, multiple levels have blimp cutscene, yet if you "mount" the blimp wrong (where you're either dropped or shoven into the ground), or you came up later than timer intends, there's no way to continue from that place besides quitting the level with Esc and attempting again. Yet when it comes to immersive experience – don't expect that. You're either finding yourself at dead-end, looking at walkthrough that there was *supposed to be* a blimp which has gone away, apparently, or confusing objects where you see a submarine and think "Oh, so the next theme will be underwater", then you find out that not at all, the gateway to next level is behind a large bear that is attacking you, in a random house. There is no "Reset Character" option, so if you fall into underground area, you either need to jump erratically to trigger the hitbox that will kill your character or quit the level with Esc and attempt again (fun fact: I've never beaten the full game when I was 9 because of this exact reason). even though it's janky, it's weirdly addictive

It's a great childhood game but I cannot pass through the 5th level, the airship disappears for me and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. (You have to let it land properly before you can go anywhere near it, otherwise it will despawn). Edit: I've now passed that level, there is a lack of a kill box on the ancient temple level which soft locks you if you miss the platform jump and I realized you can play with your mouse too which made the game a ton more easier. Great game but a few bugs here and there. (the death boxes are bugged sometimes you can hit them by jumping around in the middle part of the pit, then it will trigger a death and put you back in the latest checkpoint, otherwise you have to restart the whole level). Also by now as I'm updating this review for the 3rd time, I've completed the game. Honestly was a great blast from the past type moment and the OST is amazing, I would love to listen to some of these songs on my free time.
