WoW. I cannot recommend this game enough. Very nice graphics. Excellent story. Scary as hell in places.

Overall, I recommend this game. It's beautiful, there's some fun interactions and abilities. Lots of voice acting from your character, and the world you are in is definitely an interesting one. A very solid 7 or 8 out of 10, but with some work I could easily give this a higher score. I would definitely wait for a sale to pick this up, however. I do have to admit, there is a lot of work that still needs to be done, and I had a game breaking bug (loaded a level on top of an elevator and was unable to do anything but clip to my death, and getting inside of the playable map wasn't possible...needed to restart the entire game, as that was my only checkpoint). Some of the scripted animations are a little janky, and there is a lot of items you will think are quest related but are just useless props. Some of the core mechanics are poorly explained, but I almost feel like that is part of the charm of the game...learning stuff as you go along, just like your character.

Its great to have a new native VR game of this caliber released from a small studio. A lot of love was obviously put into this. The graphics are beautiful and I am digging the tongue-in-cheek warehouse delivery worker to "Chosen One" destiny humor! The overlapping contrast of Earth and Erath is great 😀 The physics are part of the fun and the interactives abundant. The music is also solid and a great backdrop as I often find myself kicking back and soaking in the scenery. Thank you Lords of Illusion for providing such an emersive and entertaining adventure to dive into! I really hope sales are well as I would love to see more from you all. Im glad to throw some well earned $ your way. I am playng with the latest updates and all seems to be going smoothly. PS: Its been awhile since I've smacked my ceiling thanks to those damn flying gargoyle like creatures! 🤣 A testament to my immersive fight or flight kicking in.

This game was absolutely awesome. Devs did an amazing job. Physics can be a little wonky, and I did drop my equipment sometimes, but that's normal for a physics-based game. Other than that, I had a super great time all the way through. The rig I was playing on is okay but getting old, but the game ran great even at 200% supersampling and most settings on high on my index. Highly recommend this game. Go buy it right now!

That was quite entertaining! I didn't know that this is only the first part of the whole story, but 7 hours playtime is absolutely okay. I like the humour and references (Klaatu verata nektu ;-)). Combat and weapon handling is not completely fleshed out, but fun enough to keep going. Graphics and assets are great for an indie game. Performance is fine on my RTX 5070 with medium details, but I had to completely disable the very blurry DLSS, that is enabled per default. Also the underworld seems to run with forced reduced resolution - that is one way to optimize a game ;-). However - I had fun and look forward to play the successor, when it comes out.

Bad. Everything is very unintuitive and breaks often. Many areas are very difficult to see. Holsters are unreliuable, telekinesis broke ~2 levels after I got it and I had to restart at the level where I got it for it to work again. Softlocked and required restart at several points due to weird positioning issues related to playspace I believe. I had issues where floor height in game was wrong, and puzzles are extremely frustrating. It is difficult to tell what you can interact with, and after you o, its often trivially easy to figure out the puzzle, but oh look, you have to die a couple times to figure the mechanic out. This game never gives an interesting mechanic and then lets you master it, it introduces a new mechanic, kills you until you understand it, and then never brings it up again. Full disclosure: I stopped shortly after getting the gun because I was getting so frustrated with the game and just not having any fun. Visuals are okay, but not worth the incredibly frustrating gameplay. And you should not have to tolerate awful gameplay to get okay visuals. If I had any advice for the devs, I would say, focus on making a game that is fun, and making mechanics that work cons…
