Coincidently, I chose to play this game because I was feeling burnt out & needed something cozy to relax and recharge. Watching the beginning scenes and discovering this game is about burnout too, I was expecting to resonate with the story. Unfortunately, I found the protagonist unlikable and the characters I did meet (except for the tea shop owner) kind of annoying. I pushed through, thinking maybe I could just enjoy the gameplay with tea making and gardening, but the mechanics were lack luster. I really did try with this game & pushed through the boredom as long as I could, hoping the game was just a slow burn but I just wasn't enjoying it. Which is SUCH a shame, because a cozy game about making tea could've been so wonderful had the actual gameplay been better. Admittedly, as a big cozy gamer, getting to know characters isn't what makes a game "cozy" to me & it seems like that is the core of what Wanderstop is.2 found this helpful
beautiful artwork and game. lovely little story with an eccentric (yet endearing) ensemble. i laughed, i cried, i brewed. be kinder to yourself and have a cup of tea! though i selfishly wish there was an endless tea brewing mode- it's very relaxing.2 found this helpful
Rather than wearing you down, this game charges you up. It took a minute to adjust to the slower pace and non-time sensitive demands, with a handbook so you didn't have to memorize anything if you didn't want to. But the more I played, the more I understood why games like this are needed. As a working adult, this allows your mind to slow down from the every day chaos, and engages you with a meaningful story. Voice acting and art were superb, intent behind the game and the story also unique in a good way.2 found this helpful

Quite ironic that I only managed to find the time to finish this game about stress and burnout while being on sick leave because of exactly those things. Wanderstop asks you to slow down. It will not feel good if you expect a game where you can rush things. It is with intention that the player is forced to slow down a little, and at times also do nothing for a minute or two. If you feel stressed and incapacited by the need to perform under pressure, this game might be just what you need.
