Lichdom: Battlemage

Honestly - it's worth playing for a bit if you get it really cheap. The graphics are nice and the gameplay idea in theory is pretty cool. It falls short in quite a few categories though: 1) Repetitive. It feels like you're just doing the same thing over and over again even if the areas look a little different. The enemies are very boring and you know when you see an open area you're going to have another boring fight. 2) Spells - cool in theory, but really hard to figure out what's going to be better than what you had before. There's plenty of combinations to fit your playstyle, but I really struggled with figuring out if something was going to benefit me or just be weaker. 3) Story - hard to follow. Between fighting the random same enemies over and over again, you don't really have a sense of what you're trying to do. I kept using the "show me the path button" 4) By the end I just wanted it to be over - really this is the best help I can give to someone else. Right away it was semi-fun but by about hour 10 (of 14 to beat the whole game) I was ready for it to be done so I could uninstall it. Like I said - worth it if it's a few bucks for a quick game, but overall not worth…

If you like mages you will love this game. It is kinda hard. Had to put down the difficulity lvl so my shields replenish to full and I am still learning about the spells. It is kinda limited at the same time you have a lot of variations to same school of magic. For measly 10€ I highly recommend this game. It has nice Graphics and kinda good story for now. Feels like playing WoW mage class in First person Single player game. Tought the fatalities could be better on npc and they could make on player fatalities in game that would be awesome. Like Doom 2016 before it was downgraded from on player fatalities.

Boredom: Battlefatigue Seriously one of the most boring and badly designed games ever created. Rarely do I not finish a game, doesn't matter how bad, but after almost 20 hours I gave up, as currently there is not one single aspect of the game that is positive. If you get it for free it might be worth it, otherwise stay away.

good review to support devs, but seems pretty mid so far. 1 hr in. uninstailling. life's too short to spend it on mediocre or boring experiences.
