Very good rpg. Pros: -Loved the story. there were some twists and turns and i love how they keep the story continuity with teh gameplay, and it doesnt break the core gameplay -The nemesis system was fun. i kinda figured it out at some point and it became less immersive, but it was still my favorite part of the whole game. the base building and pokemon-esk orc collecting | -It was very much like assassins creed but better. way faster. ass creed felt clunky and slow. it was also like palworld or pokemon but.. lord of the rings. and kinda less than those but still adjacent. -i particularly loved how swift and crazy u get end half of the game Cons: -I didnt like the acts. Act 1 - 5 hours of forced mission gameplay act 2 - 10 hours of open world base managament and mission. my fave act 3 - 3 hours of endgame mission act 4 - post endgame open world/base managment, also my fave act 5? - post post endgame. u can keep going vs online ppl and stuff. i didnt do this. and the on rails aspect was honestly my biggest gripe. it was hard to get into started but once u did it was good shi great rpg. its not in my top 5 rpgs but maybe top 10 8/10
I played for a while, it is not great. Then I tried to pick it up again and it did not save my progress at all.
Inferior in every way to the original - graphics, combat, atmosphere, tone, etc. This is a much more bloated and shallow game, akin to a Ubisoft title.
Genuinely think this is one of the best games I've ever played. The Nemesis system gives this game so much replay value. I don't care if the end-game is a grindfest, I could play it for an eternity.
Fun combat lots of open world to explore, distracting at times when on the way to missions but amazing combos and killing strikes. Would recommend it to most people that like fantasy and action games, similar to dc suicide squad only LOTR.
