Pankapu

This is a rather mediocre example of a platforming game. The main problem with the game is the controls, in particular the jumping controls. So many times I would attempt to make a jump, only to frequently perform "short" jumps that are nigh-useless. The same exact input seems to sometimes give me a full jump and other times the short jump, and there does not seem to be a clear indication within the game as to why. I switched controllers thinking that my main controller might have been defective, but that changed nothing. The other controls feel like butt as well. I probably would better tolerate all else if it wasn't for the fact that I was left unable to reliably perform one of the biggest key aspects of a platforming game: jumping. I didn't even get to the point where I got to play as Pankapu's other forms because the idea of going through an *entire* platforming game with these awful jumping controls? Yeah, no thanks. If you want an alternative to this game that controls far better and is thus a much better game, go pick up Nine Sols.
