I have played TFT before in master tier so I have some experience in the genre. This game is nice, you have a shop, 5 slot, refresh with 1 gold, combine 3 hero to upgrade, synergy your team to hit trait BP. In 1 sentence, this is TFT but PVE. I beat the highest difficulty which I think is understandable if someone going to said it was unfun for spamming 1 comp to win. But that's one of the fun, you get something, and you build upon it. If it's not working, it mean you're doing something wrong, or you can blame the dev for not balancing the game, that's fine too. Because I see some of the unreasonable broken ♥♥♥♥ in the PVP and it's unfun when I see my all 3 cost 4 star comp lost to 4 BP healer. That doesn't sound like balancing to me. lol.

Boring, dull, pointless, stupidly put together, random.

I really want to like this game, but frankly it's not much of a strategy auto-battler as much as it is a slot machine, and even then... What's the point of getting an insane high roll where every single unit reaches Tier 4 AND synergizes with each other if it's still not enough on middling difficulties? I mean, how is 4 Shamans, 6 units with stun abilities with a Tier 4 MYTHIC that deals bonus damage on stun, on top of a thousand mana regen buffs just... Not even CLOSE to enough? Not even a narrow loss, but instantly blown out? More and more the game restricts you from trying new things and puts you in impossible win scenarios. You can get a crazy opener with a bunch of tier 2 units, get two synergies, and still just happen to lose because the enemy happens to have the right counters or after 20 rerolls it just won't give you the last thing you need. Trying to manipulate your rerolls gives up your strength so you'll lose early, and trying to get early strength means you'll have ineffective combos later. It really feels like you need to roll what the developers intended to be powerful, rather than having a slew of similarly powerful (in different ways) builds that you can careful…

[h3]I have a problem… and its name is Tales and Tactics.[/h3] I’ve been playing this game non-stop for months, and I’m starting to think I should probably seek professional help. Several hours mysteriously disappear when I jump on for a quick game. The strategy, team building and endless combinations are ridiculously addictive. I keep convincing myself that the next run will be the one where I finally stop playing… and then suddenly it’s 1am and I’m planning my next build. Absolutely love this game. It’s one of those rare games that makes you say, “Okay, last one...” while already knowing you’re lying to yourself.
