DICEPATH

This game may seem simple, and that's what I initially thought in the first few levels, but as you get in the higher levels, it gets fairly challenging. You can finish a level, get a pathetic score, think you've figured out a better strategy to get a better score, then realize the level isn't exactly the same as when you played it the last time...because the dice numbers are randomized every time. And eventually you run into monsters that destroy dice and ruin your chances of getting the highest score. Now there are better strategies for every level, but none will guarantee you're going to get the top score or three stars, which makes almost every level repayable multiple times. I've messed with the game for several hours and still haven't been able to dominate every leaderboard. I like the graphics, everyone would call them "retro" and "pixel graphics" now, but I grew up playing DOS games in the 80s with EGA graphics. This has a bit more color and detail, so it's kind of like as if EGA and VGA had a baby. Or...this could have easily been the graphics of an arcade game. Overall, it's a fun time killing game with good graphics for the era (I assume) it's shooting for.
