Ashes of Kardoria

So don't think many people have this on their radars. I get the price is high especially for a single dev made game that just randomly came out with no hype around it. This game so far and only a few hours in, but it is really good. Not single dev needs support good, like good. Its a really good game. The graphics are really good, the lyp syncing is probably the best I have ever seen in a game in my life. Now its in Polish, but the movement matches what they are saying perfectly. Don't worry English subtitles. I am just doing beginner stuff, but I am under the impression that this is a Gothic style game that is heavy on your choices. You are surrounded by people who you may or may not want to trust. I will give a more in depth review as I play more. I just wanted to get a review out there as I have not seen any yet. If you can afford it, I promise you will enjoy this game. Its better than you think, and I personally would love to see what this dev could really do with some extra funds. Bad AI game with game breaking bugs!im tired of this AI made games this game isnt worth more than 5$ the controls are slow, response slower the idea in interesting ill give it that much. i am really hoping this game will improve and the dev will fix it but it's just wishfull thinking,,,, The dialogue is in Polish which is also a deal breaker for me

I just finished the game last night and tried 2 different ending choices to see how each turned out. I took a risk on buying a game with no reviews and virtually no gameplay videos and am glad I did, as it turns out this is a really well put together and fun little "open island" rpg. It has all the elements you would expect from a game like this -skill trees that lead to somewhat varied builds -dialog decisions that affect the story -lockpicking -crafting potions and food -etc The main problem is that some of these things are only surface level, for example the lockpicking minigame has no real challenge because there is no way that I could tell to fail it. Which I'm fine with but it might be a problem for some people. The graphics were really good for a one man dev, and the lipsync was really impressive. I won't get much into the story I'll just say it doesn't really pick up until the end, but choices you made along the way did payoff or in my case go horribly wrong in the end cutscene.
