FROGGLE is a roguelite dungeon crawler with deck-building depth and turn-based tactical combat where you guide the adorable tadpole Tapo through progressively harder battles using four unique frog heroes and unlimited sigil combinations. Packed with pop culture frog references, a risk-reward D20 system, permanent upgrades between runs, and a secret fifth hero to unlock, it delivers the strategic charm of Slay the Spire and Balatro with no microtransactions and endless replayability through multiple difficulty modes.

FROGGLE is an addictive roguelite with charming art and strategic depth that keeps players engaged through creative sigil combinations and satisfying meta progression, though it suffers from significant balance issues where early runs feel impossibly difficult while later unlocks make encounters trivially easy. Players appreciate the passion project feel and fun core gameplay loop, but some find the endgame content repetitive and poorly designed due to reliance on overpowered strategies.

FROGGLE is easily one of the most addicting roguelites I've played in a long time. It’s the absolute perfect game to pick up for a quick 15-minute session between tasks, but before you know it, you've completely lost three hours by crazy sigil combos. The strategic depth, fun soundtrack, and sheer charm make every single run feel rewarding. Froggle is such a fun roguelike. It IS delightfully breakable! Totally designed to frustrate you at the beginning but make you yearn for more. Fun meta to figure out and many different approaches to victory. Reminds me of a kind of Slay the Spire like design. Love the art, unique game play, and Frogged up mode.1 found this helpful
the tadpole parasite in my brain made me keep playing this this game is unfathomably unbalanced, unpolished, and yet somehow still fun (for a time) because of how busted it is your first 2-3 runs will end to complete stonewalls of damage that no strategy can prevent but with meta progression, namely unlocking the alpha ability, you’ll quickly have your heroes acting 15 (fifteen) times per turn instead of 1. this is enough to one shot every single encounter, including crushing the final boss without giving it a chance to activate the only mechanic it has to differ it from the rest of the encounters the endgame challenges are also poorly thought out, as they all apply different restrictions that ultimately lead to the same strategy (spamming the confuse gambit) the (what I think is) final challenge is just a painful reset-fest. it relies on completely on whether the rng lets you roll a d20 to even have a chance of escaping the first round. then you’ll die instantly in round 2 anyway this is a numbers game. it takes 30 mins to get the metaprogression you need to cast strategy aside and carry out the exact same actions every turn to anticlimactically demolish everything. at t…1 found this helpful
