100 Hidden Kooky & Hiking Boots

If you are tired of looking for cats in the sea of HOGs on Steam, the [i]Kooky[/i] games offer you a solution. In their products the team wants you to look for people that behave in an [i]unusual[/i] way, as in unusual when it comes to the environment they are in. In [i]Kooky & Hiking Boots[/i], as the name implies, it's about hiking so you have people wandering in forests, climbing mountains etc. The map is quite big and it is divided up into different locations. There are a lot of people but not all of them need to be clicked on! But what is unusual? When, let's say, somebody dresses up as a knight or uses a bathtub as a boat. Some people just use certain facilities (such as a swimming pool) in a strange way. The description is slightly misleading as it implies that you only need to click on human beings but if you see a door carved into the rocky section of a mountain, that is also very, very unusual. Or the hand of a zombie in the middle of the forest. You have these 100 strange things to find and also - given the theme - 100 hiking boots. The latter has no associated achievement. A hidden game with plenty to find. some funny things to see in this one

Original; recommended but with 3 caveats: 1) the game won't remember you choices in the options: both the "Music" slider and the "Color Palette" reset to their default settings every time you open the game; 2) the "boots" you find go from 2-tone grey to a grey/cyan combination, making it difficult to identify whether or not you've already found it; 3) should you click a boot you've already found, you'll hear an annoying beep-beep every time; the color of boots is unaffected by the color settings of the menu. All that being said, I still enjoyed the game... the "kooky" stuff is imaginative and not always obvious, despite being in plain sight.
