A Small Robot Story

A VERY basic platformer. Controls are wacky, as well as hitboxes. Cinematics are unskipable, and if you don't finish in one sitting, you have to restart from zero. No settings menu. Pixel "art" poorly executed. Not worth your time.

'A Small Robot Story' — трогательная, минималистичная игра с необычным сюжетом. Простой геймплей, где нужно помогать маленькому роботу преодолевать препятствия, сочетается с глубокой историей о любви и потере. Визуальный стиль напоминает анимацию, а атмосфера — спокойную, задумчивую. Несмотря на простоту, игра заставляет задуматься о ценности человеческих связей. Подойдет тем, кто ценит эмоциональные, а не агрессивные проекты. Мало взаимодействия с миром, но это лишь добавляет меланхоличного колорита.

(My playtime shows 0.2 hours because this game crashed my computer when I tried to load it through Steam, so I had to play it by running the exe in wine.) ((That was strike 1.)) This game sucks. It's like a Chinese bootleg of Megaman with its boring and repetitive level designs, as well as sketchy code stability. The only decent part of this game are the boss fights, but it isn't worth slogging through these dull, depressing levels to challenge them after dying. And to add insult to injury, this game has limited continues. Not even the actual Megaman has limited continues, and even if it did, Megaman has entertaining levels that could make up for having to play them over and over. I won't even give this a partial pass for being a free to play game, since it was originally five dollars and only got made free when it stopped selling. If I could get Megaman on Wii Virtual Console for five dollars back in the day, I feel comfortable comparing this to Megaman. This game may not steal a few dollars, but it will steal an hour. Spend your time somewhere else.
