Another short metroidvania definitely fun for a handful of hours. The progression is great and open. Finding everything was fun not really a chore. Atmospheric, unique, and exciting. Some flaws, like opening the inventory on the same screen (so you can't leave map open have to open and switch) and some other small stuff. Fun for achievement hunters, the challenge to beat the game with no wrench is fun. Just don't pick it up or use the auto heal chip and it's a pretty straightforward 100% with no missables. So this provides a great 100% game with a small fun challenge. Although I don't think I spent more than 5 ish tries per boss.4 found this helpful
A competent world to explore, with polished mechanics but some weak bosses.1 found this helpful
This was my first metroidvania and I absolutely love it. Not too hard, especially the bosses are a little too easy for my taste. But the atmosphere, the soundtrack and the gameplay this game provides is stellar. Highly recommended for anybody who tries to get into metroidvanias but is intimidated by the likes of Hollow Knight or just wants to have a fun gaming experience.
i love robots!!!
It's good, but not great. The world and the music is pretty....nomadic. Nothing in the world really stands out. I think that has to do with the color pallet, which isn't very vibrant and diverse. Combat is just your standard melee, and you'll quickly learn how to deal with enemies. However, if you are not a fan of the Metroidvania genre, don't bother. It has a lot of backtracking, although the dev put in multiple mechanics to make the world traversal faster as you explore more and gain upgrades. I wish the game ran smoother, btw. I bought this for dirt cheap somewhere, but for a game you could play for 3 bucks on a great sale, its all-right.
